I love.....how brave you are and how you embrace new things. I think its because of everything you went through at a young age...you seem to live life to the fullest.....and are fearless (which I am sure will get scarier the older you get!) but I love how you will try anything once and the smile on your face afterwards!
I love.....how every time you see a flower you pick it for me....your such a gentleman already (and who cares if a few of them are weeds or that my planters are now all picked clean!) its the thought that counts!
I love.....how you say "my momma" when you give me hugs.....you squeeze me so tight - I can almost feel your love!
I love.....how protective you are of your sisters. If someone says the wrong word to Emma - you run to her defense.....if someone is "too" close to Hadley, your always the first to let them know! I am sure someday they will not be so appreciative of this - but its a big brothers job!
I love....how sweet you are with baby Hadley. Not a day (or hour) goes by when you don't come over to her and say hi and give her kisses....she is so lucky to have you as a big brother!
I love.....how you follow Emma around like she is your hero.....you do your best to keep up with her and all of her activities......
I love.....your smile.....I don't love how easily I cave when you flash it at me!
I love....how you still ask for mommy to kiss your boo-boo's. Even though Daddy offers, for now, its only mommy's that do the trick!
Greyson - I can't believe how much you have grown....you are such a little man now.....starting preschool and everything! I am so proud of the big boy you have become.....I love you to the moon and back!
Emma Hope......
I love....how excited you were to learn to ride your two-wheel bike. You had talked about it for months and we thought it would take awhile for you to learn, but we were so surprised after one afternoon you were riding like a champ! We were so proud of you and by the size of the smile you were wearing - you were pretty happy too!
I love.....how thrilled you were to lose your first tooth! You have watched all your friends lose teeth and patiently waited for something to happen.....FINALLY we lost one - and were visited by the tooth fairy!!!!!
I love....how motherly you have become with Hadley. You have become such a great little helper and your sister loves you very much....I can't wait to watch the friendship that will grow between you two over the years.....
I love.....the pictures you draw me....especially the ones of our family......
I love.....how you can make Greyson smile when he is sad.....I can usually stop the tears, but you are the only one that can get him smiling again.....
I love.....your beautiful crazy hair - even though you say you want straight hair....you don't realize how lucky you are........
I love....your compassion for animals. You love all animals - big and small.....but especially dogs! I love how much you play with Maxwell.....and give him the attention he needs. I hope someday we can talk Daddy into a puppy.....keep practicing the "sad" eyes!
I love....how excited you were to conquer your first sleepover! There was much talk of doing it and where you would want to stay.....but it was finally decided it would be at Cambell's and you had the best time....all you could talk about was doing it again. I was so proud of you......and I am sure this is just the beginning of MANY sleepovers.
Emma - you have accomplished so much this summer and although I am so very proud of you - it also makes me a bit sad, because I realize how big you are getting.....I can't believe you are a first grader this year! I love you very much and I am proud to be your mom!
Hadley Kay.....
I love.....your beautiful smile....your face lights up and I have never seen such a beautiful sight. Even when you wake me in the wee hours - you flash me that smile and I can't help but melt....
I love....how intently you watch you big sister and brother. When they are around, you focus on them - and I know you are anxiously awaiting the time when you can join in on the fun!
I love....the way you smell after a bath......
I love....the way you snuggle up to me.....I cherish those quiet moments when its just you and me....because I know from experience how quickly these amazing moments pass......
I love....the sound of your laugh.....and no-one gets you laughing more than Emma and Greyson.....what a sweet sound......
Hadley - although your list may not be as long as Emma and Greyson's - its only because you have only been here three months! I look forward to learning all about you as you grow - I can't wait to see what a beautiful girl you will grow into. But please, don't grow so fast.....mommy loves you!
